The Hufeisensiedlung, or horseshoe housing development, was built in Berlin's Britz district between 1925 and 1933.  Designed by architects Bruno Taut and Martin Wagner, the Hufeisensiedlung is an example of the German "Neues Bauen" movement and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
